Welcome to our performance of Radium Girls! I am thrilled to share this powerful story with you, brought to life by a remarkable cast of strong young women who have poured their hearts and souls into this production on a remarkably short timeline. Their dedication and passion shine through in every scene, and I couldn't be prouder of their incredible work.
Radium Girls is not just a historical account; it is a poignant tale of courage, resilience, and sisterhood. The women depicted in this story fought tirelessly for justice at a time when their voices were often dismissed. Through their struggles, we see the remarkable willpower that defined their lives and the impact they had on labor rights and women's advocacy.
As you watch, I encourage you to reflect on the importance of standing up for what is right, even in the face of overwhelming odds. Grace Fryer serves as a reminder of the strength we find in unity and the power of women to enact change.
Thank you for supporting First Act Theatre Arts and Radium Girls. Your support not only honors this incredible cast but also celebrates the spirit of those who continue to fight for justice today.
Enjoy the performance!
Warmly, Erika Miller Director, Radium Girls
