from the director

Ah! First Grade! Do you remember those days? My first grade year happened in 1964 (I know - I’m old!). Needless to say, our world reeled from historic events which, no doubt, affected our class. However, First Grade offered a safe place with a kind teacher and fun friends. For Junie B. Jones, First Grade gives her challenges and victories. She meets these with vivacious enthusiasm, and she begins her elementary school adventures with the promise of seeing the world (with purple glasses!) and making lifelong friendships.

This Junie B. Jones production has been blessed with amazing work by families, cast members and artistic team directors. We hope you enjoy watching the show and, maybe, reliving your favorite First Grade memories!
