The North Babylon Fire Company held its 86th installation dinnerat the Huntington Hilton on April 2, 2022. Chief of Department Cullen was sworn in forhis second and final term as Chief by his fatherDara. The assistant chiefs, executive officers and the line officers from the fourstations were installed by various dignitaries. ExChief John F. Caroleo was awarded with the Chief Francis J. Noonan Award, and ex-President Thomas P. Hellum was awarded the Chief Willian Scarangella Award. Most Alarms for the Year2021 were given to the winner from each station. Service Awards were given to eight members with fiveyears, two members with 10-years, six members with 15-years, one member with 20 years, one memberwith 25 years, three members with 30 years, one memberwith 40 years, two members with 45 years and one member with 65 years. Ex-Captain John Gardnerwas given numerous proclamations and awards forhis 65 years in the fire company, his son Mike and grandson Mike are also members. - Fire News photos by Paul Mazza

Massapequa Installation 2022

On May 7, 2022 the Massapequa Fire Department held its annual installation dinner where the new Chief of Department William Monjardo along with Assistant Chiefs Regis Beneville, Jeffery Friedland and Ryan Zimmerman and otherdepartment officers were sworn into office. Outgoing Chief of Department David Batt was also honored.
