The Firehouse Arts Center is dedicated to inspiring passion through the arts. Offering performing and visual arts, exciting and interactive programs for all ages, we combine the sophistication of the culturally rich Bay Area arts landscape with the hospitality and intimacy of our own hometown. The Firehouse Arts Center is a program of the City of Pleasanton.

Doomsday Diaries is a completely improvised teen improv show set in the apocalypse, performed by the dynamic ensemble Creatures of Impulse Their performance will unveil gripping stories of survival, resilience, and human spirit, all created on the spot by talented young performers navigating a world in chaos.

The Bandjango Collectif is a wildaround-the-edges experience, melding French jazz manouche and chanson, New Orleans jazz, global traditions, and folk. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, the band features North Bay native and vocalist Stella Heath.

Together, they embark on an epic adventure to help her find home, love, and family.

Mystic Tales is a completely improvised teen improv show set in the Fantasy genre, performed by the award-winning improv troupe Creatures of Impulse. Each performance weaves together new and enchanting stories filled with magical creatures, epic quests, and mystical adventures, all created on the spot.

Chorus Eclectic sings over land and sea in this fall concert, Surf and Turf. This performance will explore how song has shaped the way in which we move around our planet. And celebrate the way travel has, in turn, shaped music. From sea shanties to marching songs and everything in between, come enjoy this feast of songs!

High School Music Collaborative presents

Holiday Youth Music Festival showcases the vibrant talents of high schoolers, featuring a delightful mix of original and classic holiday songs. Performed by the High School Music Collaborative, this festive event promises to fill your heart with holiday cheer and musical joy.

HARRINGTON GALLERY

The Harrington Gallery features five group exhibitions per year, highlighting works by both established and emerging regional artists in a variety of styles, genres, and themes. A spacious yet intimate exhibition space comprised of two rooms, the gallery contains architectural structures and remnants of the original Firehouse #1 Engine Bay. Inside the Firehouse Arts Center, there are two additional exhibition spaces within the foyer and second floor dedicated to the solo exhibitions of Bay Area artists and Pleasanton Art League members.

Anastasia The Musical - Youth Edition

AUDITIONS AUG. 8, 11, 13 | AGES 10-18

A 60-minute adaptation, specially tailored for young actors, of the spectacular Broadway musical about discovering who you are and defining who you’re meant to be.

Finding Nemo KIDS

REGISTRATION OPENS AUG. 14 | AGES 5-11

Sprouts Players will experience the thrill of putting on a show in a welcoming environment for kids of all experience levels. They will collaborate, sing, dance, and act their way to a memorable musical production Participants work towards a 30 minute production of Finding Nemo KIDS!

Creatures of Impulse

AUDITIONS JUL. 31 & AUG. 5 | Grades 9-12

Creatures of Impulse (COI) is an award-winning youth improv troupe entering its 17th season. COI specializes in long-form improv, telling full length stories in play and musical forms. This season, COI will feature Whose Line Is It Anyway style improv in the annual Face-Off show facing off against other local improv teams

High School Music Collaborative

The High School Music Collaborative (HSMC) offers a supportive and inspiring environment to help students grow as artists and make their mark in the music industry. HSMC Cabaret combines the vibrant energy of musical theater with the intimate and expressive nature of cabaret performances.
