The Alabama Fire College is proud to be the home of the Alabama Firefighter Memorial. The Alabama Joint Fire Council, made up of representatives from the Alabama Association of Fire Chiefs, the Alabama Firefighters Association, the Alabama Association of Volunteer Fire Departments, and the Professional Fire Fighters Association of Alabama, unanimously agreed that a monument should be erected to serve as the official memorial to honor Alabama’s firefighters who have given their lives in the Line-of-Duty, and to pay tribute to those firefighters who heroically serve with pride, courage, and honor.
