Gee, we are already into the middle of November and it just seems like I just finalised our October newsletter . I must say that this year has been hectic for everyone, especially after chatting with a number of you over the last few weeks . It was really nice to talk to you and I really appreciate your time . It was good to hear how you all are going and what plans you have for the end of the year. I hope that everything works out well for all of you as we head towards the end of 2012 and the beginning of 2013.

Can you believe that next year is going to be 2013. That’s amazing. I distinctly remember the year 2000 when we were just talking about the Y2K bug and GST. And to think that it has been twelve years since then, my goodness. I hope you all had a good October and November and have big plans for December. Thank you to everyone for all your support over the last month, it is very pleasing to see some of you increase your business and grow and have a good end to the year even though for part of the year it was not the best for some of you.

All the good sports have finished, now we have the cricket. Gee, I must say I am little bit bored by the cricket, but anyway, bring on the 2020 big bash, I enjoy that. Two hours, and that’s it, that does me for the cricket, but anyway, for the rest of you who enjoy the cricket, good luck with this year.

I hope you have caught up with the regular emails we are getting at to you. Hopefully three times a week we will try and get you something to update you on, business, Fiori and things in general.

Thank you for your feedback to those emails and your positive response especially the feature on Gorenja Ora-ito products in the kitchen display. If you look above, I have included a picture of the kitchen. Yes, yes, I hear you all, our brochures are coming! I know it is been a little bit frustrating. It is initially a book of about 30 pages and we are trying to reduce it to a smaller size of about 8-10 pages. So you can show your clients the range of our new designer appliances, and I really do mean, designer appliances. These appliances add a new level to your kitchen, a new aspect to your kitchen, a new style to your kitchen, so they give your clients a little bit of a classy inclusion with appliances not like the standard ovens and cooktops and hoods that they may buy from everyone else.

To everyone who celebrated their birthday or anniversary or wedding or anything over for the last month, congratulations to you and your family, and I hope you had a wonderful time. To those who are celebrating over the next month or so, congratulations to you.

Don’t forget to try our word puzzle at the end of the newsletter. That is proving a little challenge to some people, but anyway, it’s a little bit of fun, I hope you enjoy that.

Welcome our new staff member, Erlynne, who has been sending out emails and following up things for me for the month. If you have a chance to talk to her or catch her one of her emails, so please say hello and make her feel welcome.

I must say, on the social media, we have been a little quiet, If you are following us on Facebook or Twitter, look for an improvement over the next few weeks. So please, if you are a visitor to of our website, Like or Follow us on both Twitter and Facebook, because there are some really good things we are doing here with articles, competitions, update on our products and everything. So if you are not going to follow us, maybe you get one of your children to follow us so that you can and keep up to date with what we are doing there.

Again, I wish you all a very good month. I hope you are busy. I hope your staff work well and that the month turns out to be prosperous month for you. 4 servings The flavor of braised beef cheeks improves over a day or two. Make them ahead if time allows. Celery leaves, from the inner-heart of the bunch, add an herbal accent and make a pretty garnish.

Ingredients 4 (12-ounce) beef cheeks, trimmed of excess fat Medium coarse sea salt Freshly ground black pepper 4 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil 1 medium onion, quartered 1 medium white turnip, quartered 1 carrot, cut into 4 pieces 1 celery stalk, cut into 3 pieces 2 cups dry red wine 3 whole star anise Pineapple and Pear Mostrada 1/3 cup celery leaves 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh chives Instructions Heat oven to 325º.

Season beef cheeks with salt and pepper. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a heavy 6-quart ovenproof pot over medium-high heat. Brown beef, without crowding, on all sides, 15 to 20 minutes; transfer to a plate. Drain any fat from pot; add remaining 2 tablespoons oil, onion, turnip, carrot and celery, and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until browned, about 10 minutes.

Add wine and star anise to vegetable mixture; scrape up any brown bits. Bring to boil and cook until liquid is reduced by half, about 10 minutes.

Return beef (with any juices) to pot; add water to just cover, 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon pepper. Bring to a simmer, cover with a tight-fitting lid (use foil under lid, if necessary, to create a tight seal) and braise in middle of oven until beef is very tender, about 3 hours. Using a slotted spoon, transfer beef to plates. Serve with mostarda, and sprinkled with celery leaves and chives.

♌Marketing Page Six Steps for Turning Failure Into Success

When you're starting or growing your company, you'll face Lots of challenges and unfortunately realize failures more often than you'd like. One of the hallmarks of successful entrepreneurs is that they routinely overcome these obstacles.

To do the same, follow these six steps to respond to failures: 1.

Admit the mistake. Knowing the true cause of a failure is the first step to overcoming it, after acknowledging that there's a problem or failure in the first place. Leaders who practice denial might feel better about themselves temporarily, but nothing gets done to make things better.

Face it-no one wants to admit they messed up and it's hard to accept when something's just not working anymore.

Be kind to yourself - Even if you directly caused the failure, remember that it's a matter of your actions and their results-not from some personal defect. It's not always about you! Try to separate yourself from the problem and look at it objectively.

2.

Talk it through with someone who can offer insight or support. Don't be afraid to ask for help! Again, asking for help does not mean you're not good enough. It means you're committed to achieving outcomes without letting ego get in your way.

3.

Find out what you can learn from the failure. The odds are you did things that worked and things that didn't.

Examine them and the reasons why they worked or didn't. What you learn here will form the assumptions you'll rely on when making a plan of action in the following steps.

Attack, not shrink - When people run into financial problems or serious crises, they usually go in one of two directions. They can shrink back, become more risk-averse, and try to cut expenses and do less to avoid the problem. It's basically cowering and hiding. Or they can attack the problem like a foreign army invading enemy territory. Which strategy do you think has won more wars?

5.

Make a new plan and move forward. Thinking about the past is helpful-for the purpose of learning from it. But ruminating and dwelling in the past, reliving your mistakes and thinking about how things could and should have turned out differently just isn't productive.

It's time to think about the future! Take what you learned from the failure and apply it to a new or revised plan towards the same goal.

Look at the bright side-you now have more information and knowledge than you did making your last plan! This should give you a little more confidence, knowing your odds are better this time. This is the same mindset that Thomas Edison had when he said, after years of trying to create a light bulb, "I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work."

So rather than reacting negatively to failures and problems when they occur, or getting stressed out about what happened (as if you're somehow exempt, unlike all the other entrepreneurs throughout history), learn how to react productively instead.

guard your thoughts and mind with the same diligence as you would protect your assets and follow your plan. Allowing negative thinking and fear to creep in will cloud your vision, lead to less effective plans, and will short-circuit your ability to remain consistent and motivated. On the other hand, if you form the habit of failing forward (productively), then nothing will be able to permanently stand in your way of success. The choice is yours.

♌Property What’sUp Australians responding to RBA rate cuts – with consumer sentiment surging to its highest point in 19 months Brought to you by AAP Australians are beginning to respond to interest rate cuts earlier in the year, and another rate cut could be on its way in December.

The Westpac Melbourne Institute Index of Consumer Sentiment for November, released on Wednesday, rose 5.2 per cent to an index level of 104.3 - its highest point since April 2011.

A reading below 100 indicates more consumers are pessimistic than optimistic about the economy. Westpac chief economist Bill Evans said the result was unexpectedly positive, given sluggish performance of the previous readings.

"After a long 16-month period when it held below 100 for 14 of those months, we are finally starting to see that the Reserve Bank (of Australia)'s 150 basis points of interest rate cuts is having an impact," he said.

He added, though, that the index was still only 0.9 per cent above its level of this time last year. Mr Evans said the uptick in sentiment was most likely based on global factors, as well as the RBA's rate-cutting decisions in May, June and October. However, a desire to boost conditions in the economy could prompt the RBA to consider easing rates at its board meeting on December 4.

"The Australian economy is facing uncertainty around the mining sector and with contractionary fiscal policy and a punishingly high Australian dollar," Mr Evans said. "We need further rate cuts to help build on these early signs that lower rates are having an impact on households' confidence."

All components of the data improved in November, with a rise of 11.1 per cent on the sub-index measuring views on family finances compared to a year ago, and a rise of 1.3 per cent on the measure of expected family finances over the next 12 months.

Australians were also positive about economic conditions over the next 12 months and five years, with the relevant sub-indices improving by six per cent and 3.4 per cent respectively.

The sub index tracking whether now was a good time to purchase a major household item rose 5.1 per cent.

However, state-by-state results suggested there was still some concern about the longevity of the mining boom, with confidence falling 5.2 per cent in Western Australia, and 8.7 per cent in South Australia, perhaps as a result of the Olympic Dam project being cancelled.

Commonwealth Bank senior economist John Peters said the survey suggested Australians were generally more positive about domestic and global conditions in November.

"It appears that the cumulative interest rate cuts over 2012 have finally propped up consumer attitudes and improved family finances," he said.

"As well, a stable unemployment rate over November and the decisive reelection of Barack Obama in the US presidential election are likely to have had some positive influences on consumers."

Govt Takes Credit for QLD Housing Boost Brought to you by AAP More Sharing Services Share Treasurer Tim Nicholls says Australian Bureau of Statistics seasonally adjusted figures show housing finance approvals rose 0.6 per cent in September. Trend finance approvals for owner occupied dwellings rose 0.2 per cent to be 6.4 per cent higher over the year. Mr Nicholls says while interest rate cuts have played a role, measures handed down in the September budget, like the reintroduction of the principal place of residence transfer duty concession, also made housing more affordable. The government also introduced a $15,000 first home owner construction grant. "The $15,000 grant for first-time buyers of new homes is helping stimulate the construction industry, while making it easier for people to buy a home," he said in a statement.
