Petersen Residence
Status: Final Term Project, BCIT
Location: Deep Cove, North Vancouver, BC
Typology: Single-family Residential
Floors: 2 stories
Year: 2025
Area: 3,169 sq.ft.
Software: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, Adobe Suite
Design and development of a two-storey singlefamily residence in Deep Cove, involved in both architectural and interior design. Produced coordinated floor plans, elevations, sections, interior layouts, and finish specifications.
The design focused on maximizing natural light and framing views while ensuring efficient circulation and spatial clarity. Applied BC Building Code (Part 9) requirements, including stair geometry, accessibility clearances, and residential dimensional standards.

The mood board is inspired by the natural surroundings of Deep Cove and the clients’ desire to feel connected to nature within their home. The natural material selection aims to create a calm and serene ambiance, while subtle refined finishes add a sense of sophistication. The colour palette draws inspiration from sunset hues, combining warm earthy tones with accents of orange and red.

Elementary and Secondary School in Pachacamac
FLEXIBLE LEARNING SPACES
Status: Undergraduate Thesis Project
Location: Pachacamac, Lima, Peru
Year: 2021
Area: 11, 726.33 m²

This thesis project focuses on the design of a elementary and secondary school in Manchay, Pachacamac, a rapidly growing peripheral area of the city facing a shortage of educational infrastructure.
The proposal aims to create flexible, playful spaces that are closely connected to the outdoors, aligning with the spatial needs of active pedagogical methodologies. Additionally, the design strengthens the relationship between the school and the local community by allowing certain areas to be used outside school hours and by creating permeable edges that foster integration with the surrounding urban fabric.
