About us | History 1992 — establishment of «Acvila» engaged in production of economic devices and commercial activities.

1997 — festablishment of «Etalon-Prim», the main activity is production of aluminum profile articles.

1998 — purchase of the carpet factory JSC «Covoare-Ungheni».

1999 — establishment of LLC «Unghenski Kilimi», official trade representative of JSC «Covoare-Ungheni» in , Kiev.

2005 — opening of the store «Carpeta» in Chisinau, the largest in . In an area of 2 000 m2, there are over 1 000 types of carpets 2005 — opening of the store «Acvila», where in an area of 500 m2 one can find modern aluminum profile structures, a large range of dual-pane windows, glass and galss blocks. representative of «Moldabela», «Incov» and «Covoare-Ungheni» in Ukraine, Melitopol.

2006 — JSC «INCOV» has joined Group of Companies «Acvila Grup»

2004 — establishment of the Group of Companies «Acvila Grup» (8 June)

2007 — establishment of LLC «Carpeta-Kiev», an official trade

2004 — establishment of LLC «Scopos», a company for production and sales of furniture.

2005 — establishment of LLC «Steclar», a company for production of dual-pane windows and glass.

2006 — establishment of LLC «Carpeta-Melitopol», an official trade

2001 — establishment of the joint venture Moldovan-Belgium enterprise «Moldabela» for production of carpets.

“Acvila Grup� was founded in 1992. Nowadays it is one of biggest Unions of Enterprises from Republic of Moldova and is one of the most important players in the textile industry in the Eastern Europe. Companies that form the Union are activating in different areas and are well-known brands on the local and international market.

Approximately 2 000 people are working in Acvila Grup.

For Acvila Grup quality is the key word. It is present at every stage of development, from creation of new design, to manufacturing and customer service. Quality is ensured by using Quality Management System ISO 9001:2000 which was implemented in all our enterprises.

Acvila Grup’s main business sector represents the carpet industry. It started in 1998 with the purchasing of old factory in Ungheni (R. Moldova). Acvila Grup owns 3 major companies from Eastern Europe which are producing jacquard carpets (Moldabela and Incov) and raw materials for carpets (Filatura Ungheni).

Equiped with modern technologies the factories produce each year more than 5 million sq.m. of synthetic and wool carpets. We use in production only high quality wool from New Zealand and U.K., certified by Woolmark.

Sales geography

Carpets produced by MOLDABELA & INCOV are sold all around the world. You can find Acvila Grup’s carpets on all continents. Our distributors and clients come mainly from following countries: - Germany, Poland, Hungary, Austria, Czech Republic, Serbia, Italy, Belgium, UK, Bulgaria, Romania, Estonia, Finland, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Japan, USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia.

Sales geography | Partners Through the time Acvila Grup has built strong relations not only with particular wholesalers or distributors in a specific country, but also with International chains of stores.

Last year we have been approved as an IKEA supplier, so starting from 2011 carpets produced by Moldabela & Incov will be sold in IKEA stores in Europe.

In Germany we are collaborating with the carpet retailer Nr.1 in Germany – KIBEK. We deliver wool carpets to KIBEK chain.

Komfort (biggest chain of carpet stores in Poland) is also our loyal customer.

An important part of our production is sold through DIY hypermarkets. Acvila Grup’s carpets are sold in following popular stores: KIKA, OBI, Castorama, Leroy Merlin, Hornbach

About “Carpeta Group”

Carpeta Group – it is an international chain of carpet stores that sells carpets produced by Moldabela and Incov. First Carpeta stores were open in 2005 in Chisinau (Republic of Moldova) and Iasi (Romania).

At the moment the chain has stores in many locations in Europe: Moldova, Romania, Ukraine, Russia, Czech Republic and Italy.

The main goal of Carpeta Group is to be as close as possible to the client, by enlarging considerably number of showrooms in the world.

At the moment 66 Carpeta stores are open for our customers.

In 2010 the Carpeta Group’s turnover reached €16.1 mln.

In big cities Carpeta store reaches sales of approximately €100 000 per month. In smaller towns sales varies from €15 000 to €50 000 per month.
