With a freshly created synopsis by CFM Gallery Director Neil Zukerman in French and English, Le Fantôme de l’Opera/ ´ The Phantom of the Opera is the quintessential Gothic tale. It recounts the love triangle between Christine Daaé, a beautiful innocent; Raoul, the future Count of Chagny; and Erik, the deformed, twisted “Phantom of the Opera” who inhabits the nether regions of the Opéra Garnier (The Paris Opera House).

This book is the fourth major literary collaboration between Anne Bachelier and CFM Gallery, following such previous successes as Princess of Wax, Rose Daughter (A Retelling of Beauty and the Beast), and Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Once again, Anne Bachelier’s beautifully vivid artwork illuminates a classic story as never before imagined.

Le Fantôme de l’Opera/ ´ The Phantom of the Opera is presented in four distinctive versions, as follows: Portfolio*, 17.5” x 13” , 104 pages, bound in matching fuchsia boards (contains a complete set of all the oil on paper illustrations and refusés); Folio*, 15” x 11”, 160 pages, unbound in matching fuchsia box; Deluxe, black leather edition, 15” x 11”, 160 pages, in fuchsia slip case; and Standard Edition, hard-bound in black silk with a pictorial dust jacket.
