STEP INSIDE

Rest Harrow

Rest Harrow combines the charm and character of a traditional cottage, with spacious extensions and a generous garden in a village centre location. The original part of the cottage is thought to date back to the 1650s, with later additions in 2008 and 2023. The property has been modernised throughout and is presented in excellent condition.

The village of All Cannings lies in the picturesque Vale of Pewsey, part of the North Wessex Downs area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The market town of Devizes is just 4 miles away and the village itself has a public house, a primary school and community-run shop. Rail services run directly from nearby Pewsey to London Paddington, taking around 1hr.

Ground Floor

The older part of the cottage oozes character and the entrance porch leads into the large kitchen, which has ample space to dine. Fitted with a range of units, feature beams and an old inglenook fireplace, it is a charming heart to the home. A utility room and downstairs WC lead off from here.

The more modern side of the building offers a sitting room with log burner and an additional sitting room/family room which offers views onto the rear garden and is flooded with natural light. The layout remains flexible depending on the needs of the occupants and lends itself to a wide variety of uses.

First Floor

To the first floor are 3 double bedrooms, with the principal bedroom benefitting from a large en-suite bathroom. There is also a family bathroom, which like the ensuite has a roll-top bath and separate shower. Presented in excellent condition throughout, with the bathrooms having recently been upgraded.
