4 FARMERS DRIVE

4 FARMERS DRIVE

Ten years ago, the present owners Tony and Liz were searching for a larger property to meet the demands of their growing family. They were thrilled to discover 4 Farmers Drive, with its attractive kerb side appeal but more importantly the potential for expansion.

Tony explains that working to the highest specifications they began the conversion. Four ensuites have ended early morning bathroom queues, whilst the garage conversion with wet room and lounge/ bedroom made the perfect space for a teenager or overnight guests. The kitchen is now a sociable family hub, and a two storey extension to the side of the house added even more room. The house is now a fantastic, spacious home that combines style with great comfort,

Liz says the kitchen is the daily hub of the home, where they enjoy chatty meals round the kitchen table, and views to the garden create a charming backdrop. She adds that the windows are a great feature, as they flood the rooms with natural light giving a positive ambience throughout the house, which is also a great entertaining venue. Liz recalls that during Covid there were seven people living in the house. and the rooms were large enough to easily accommodate them all but most importantly, during that time, there was space for everyone to find a quiet spot if needed. The spacious master bedroom suite has always been a great adult sanctuary.

The quiet, private and fully enclosed garden is a delightful mix of lawn and shrubbery and with three patio areas it is always possible to find a sunny spot, to sit and enjoy the calm that surrounds you. Tony particularly loves the front garden and says it is quite hidden from the street, and is virtually a secret garden.

Brackley has been a good place to live with something for all the family. It is only a fifteen minute walk into town for the weekly market and a good range of shops and restaurants. There are excellent state schools and Stowe School is close by. Silverstone circuit is a twenty minute drive and Milton Keynes, Banbury and Bicester are nearby.

Tony and Liz are very sad to leave, and Tony says they have come full circle. They need to downsize as children have left home and there is sadly no longer any need for so many rooms anymore. They take away many happy memories of the house and Brackley.*

There is a partitioned store area big enough for a motorbike at the front of the garage.

The rear garden is mainly laid to lawn and has a sun terrace and side gated access. The property comes with the rare benefit of a good sized, private front garden and there is off-road parking for around five cars. A lovely family home which must be viewed.
