At The Community Foundation, our mission to improve the quality of life for everyone in Hancock County is a commitment we’ve made to you, and one we undertake alongside you. It’s truly inspiring to witness the profound impact that generosity, partnership and a shared vision can achieve.
Because of the incredible kindness of our donors, both those new to our work and the thousands who have built this legacy of giving before us, we are able to make significant investments in our community every year. These contributions empower deserving nonprofits and students, translating into tangible improvements right here at home. This report gives an overview of what we accomplished together in 2024.
The evolving needs and challenges within Hancock County require a collaborative spirit. We believe that The Community Foundation, with our generous donors, grant recipients and valued partners, is at its best when we work together to make a lasting difference. This collective effort allows us to adapt and respond to what our community needs most.
To ensure this vital work continues to thrive for generations to come, we’re passionately focused on establishing strong roots now to ensure our community can rise to meet future needs. With the Rooted to Rise campaign, we are planting seeds now for a stronger community later. Every dollar given to The Community Foundation is rooted in trust, nurtured with purpose and supported with care. Together, we’re ensuring that the successes of 2024 will be possible long into the future.
