Every communication reflects our commitment to growing families, businesses, and communities by showcasing “Here We Grow” as a customer-facing expression of our brand promise. “Here We Are” is our way of emphasizing that we are part of the community and that we put customers first, because we are always here for them. When we pair this with “Here We Grow,” we describe our connection to our customers as well as the momentum we seek to build with them. Essentially, when we spotlight this message, we are saying, “We’re here with you, on your terms and in your community. And together, we will achieve your goals.”

Our visual vocabulary shows that we are in alignment with the communities we serve.

Taking a strong visual cue from how towns and cities are mapped out, our gridwork creates its own stylistic map of the key elements that surround our brand inside our customer-driven atmosphere. From our five-pointed stars to our map markers and clouds, our gridwork creates a sense of place and of belonging. We’re on the same page, the same map, and the same grid as our customers.

The positive feeling is mutual, but we don’t always need to spell it out.

In our external brand communications, we don’t attempt to explicitly define what a “mutual structure” is. Our customers have enough to think about, and we never want to add complexity to their lives. We’d rather show them that we’re different instead of telling them. The look and feel of our brand demonstrates to our customers that we don’t look like other banks because we don’t function like other banks.

Penn Community Bank isn’t beholden to shareholders. In fact, our mutual structure gives us the freedom to put the needs of our customers first in everything we do.
