Who We Serve

Active Day makes a difference to caregivers.

Caregivers rely on us to show them the Brighter Side of Caring.

Meet Judy. She’s the middle child of Phyllis, an Active Day member. Judy loves having her mother in her home, but she needs help caring for her so she can work and run errands. Active Day provides a place where her mother can go for a few days a week, where Judy has confidence that Phyllis will be happy and receive the positive attention she needs. Active Day serves as a trained second set of eyes to help ensure that mom is at her best.

Who We Serve

Members rely on us to show them the Brighter Side of Caring.

Meet Lynn. She’s an 85 year old woman who lives at home with her daughter. She knows many others her age are going into nursing homes or have at-home care. However, Lynn still wants to socialize and be active, and she doesn’t need 24/7 care. Lynn wants to extend her quality of life and help alleviate some of the burden she knows she places on her daughter. She wants to look forward to every day, because she knows that she’ll be greeted by smiling faces and fun activities.
