s I write this, I find myself captivated by Julie Anne San Jose’s rendition of “Voltes V No Uta,” playing on repeat in the background.

I’m in awe of her talent and can’t help but gush over her remarkable performance.

It’s no wonder that Japanese Ambassador to the Philippines Koshikawa Kazuhiko praised her for singing it so brightly and powerfully, and I wholeheartedly agree with it.

In this issue, we’re thrilled to feature her on the cover and highlight why she is considered a triple threat in the Philippine entertainment industry.

In addition, we had the privilege of joining the Haneda Airport Garden press tour for foreign media in Japan on April 26. During the tour, we were able to explore various facilities, including the rooftop onsen, and our first-hand experience was nothing short of exceptional. We highly recommend that our readers try it out for themselves, and we’re ecstatic to share more details with you.

Moreover, we were honored to attend JICA President Akihiko Tanaka’s press conference at the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of Japan (FCCJ) on April 11. He described the Philippines as one of the aid agency’s most significant and long-standing partners. In this issue, we’re proud to share details of our brief interview with him and explore the vital role that JICA plays in developing and enhancing the country’s infrastructure.

Overall, we’re excited to present a range of captivating stories and features in this issue, and we hope that our readers enjoy reading them as much as we enjoyed creating them.
