his issue of the FilipinoJapanese Journal is very special for me. Our cover star, the charismatic and talented Coco Martin, graces our pages for the third time as we promote his newest action-packed primetime series, “FPJ's Batang Quiapo.”

The Primetime King’s previous series, “FPJ's Ang Probinsyano” has captivated viewers worldwide for seven years, and my late 86-year-old grandmother was among its loyal fans who watched it every night. I’m certain that if she were still alive today, she would eagerly watch Coco’s new show exclaiming, “‘Yan gusto ko bakbakan!”
