We believe that we must want to grow with the knowledge of those who gave us life and cared for us.

We are fortunate that Papa continues to share his home with us togetherwith our children Gabriel, Miguel, and Rafael enjoying his wisdom and influence.

This book is a token of our love in celebration of Papa's 95th birthday!

We have prepared this small volume of "FAMILY RECOLLECTIONS" which hopefully gives life to the names and events of an era.

We continue to enjoy our lively discussions and story telling around our dinner table and for this we are grateful.

It has been said that "The history of a country is the story of its people, the families and events in their lives and lifetime."

The importance of the related events in an era in which each generation lives should be recorded well so that we can leave a trace for others to know where they have come from.
