PREFACE This account is not an autobiography, neither is it a history of any particular thing, although it does contain both history and autobiography. It is a testimony to God's saving and keeping power, to His unspeakable love, limitless grace, and wonderful salvation, to His never failing guidance, protection and victories that He gave. In the summer of 1953 most of this material was given during evangelistic meetings in Chiba Prefecture, Japan. Rev. and Mrs. Numakura, who were in charge of some of the churches, asked me to write my testimony in detail so that it could be published in Japanese. While doing language study and mission work I finally got it written into English, in March of 1954. My helper, who was also my interpreter during the evangelistic meetings, translated parts of it. Her father who was an English interpreter for an oil company assisted. Rev. Numakura then worked long hours to get it into final form. It was published the later part of 1954. I praise God for the Japanese who came to the Lord Jesus Christ because He used it for that purpose. I make grateful acknowledgement especially to Rev. and Mrs. Numakura for their help and encouragement, without which this would never have been written. Susie M.
