Sarah Gordon Washington, USA

Sarah Gordon is a British artist and textile designer living on Bainbridge Island, WA in the middle of the Puget Sound and is lucky to work from her home art studio which is a two block walk from the local beach. She’s there almost every day with her children beach combing and collecting inspiration. After completing a Fashion Textile degree she moved to New York to design in-house for a range of textile and fashion companies before co owning a long running textile studio producing seasonal collections of prints.

She is greatly influenced by the simplicity and boldness of abstract art with the quirkiness of antique botanical illustrations and enjoys finding a way to combine these polar opposites in her designs.

Entire Collection 13 Cotton pcs + 5 Rayon pcs Forage is intended to evoke tranquil summer days in a lush wild garden full of edible fruits and flowers. She started her home accessories label LEMONNI in 2013 with the idea of bringing happiness to the home through patterns and colors. Annie loves to use motifs with crisp lines and colors with a soft retro palette in her designs. Her style is often described as whimsical, playful, and reminiscent of the 60s.
