In this Success Story, William Lu, Assistant Manager–Marketing, shares his insights on their two successful campaigns — a webinar partnership in the next-gen nutraceuticals’ category and a custom whitepaper production and promotion.

As a winner in the Vitafoods Europe Innovation Awards 2025, SynbioTech received a complimentary Brand Awareness Webinar Sponsorship Package. What was your experience?

“Firstly, we’re honoured that we won our very first Vitafoods Europe Innovation Award. This was for Lactiplantibacillus plantarum TWK10®, our scientifically validated probiotic that enhances muscle strength, endurance, healthy ageing and recovery.

“The webinar sponsorship mainly supported our brand visibility and thought leadership with the whitepaper spotlight it brought. Through it, we focused on strengthening and increasing exposure for both, our company SynbioTech and our award-winning TWK10®, within the international nutraceutical industry.

“Our product whitepaper was promoted through the webinar platform and the related campaign activities, which helped increase awareness among relevant professionals – which really was our need.

Overall, the webinar and campaign aligned well with our brand visibility objective."

What webinar topic did you choose, and why?

"We saw a growing market interest in healthy ageing, active nutrition and mobility related applications, especially solutions supported by strong scientific evidence – like our ingredient TWK10®.

“Since TWK10® is positioned in the active nutrition, muscle health, and healthy ageing area, we chose the webinar topic ‘Designing nextgeneration nutraceuticals.’ It provided a good content base for sharing both the scientific background behind the ingredient and our whitepaper for deeper insights. We believe these areas will continue to be key growth opportunities across both North American and European markets.

“As a company with more than 2,000 proprietary strains, extensive clinical research capabilities, and global manufacturing resources, we continuously look for opportunities to translate science into meaningful industry engagement. The webinar helped us do exactly that.”

“Yes, absolutely. The audience quality was particularly valuable. We were able to engage with professionals actively looking for evidence-based solutions in healthy ageing, active nutrition, and mobility support, which closely aligns with our strategic focus. The webinar platform offered a very good opportunity to share with this audience the innovation we're doing in healthy ageing.”

What prompted you to do so?

"Given the success of our first campaign, we’ll definitely be back to do another whitepaper with Smartcore."

“This package included a whitepaper production with design, plus promotion on the Vitafoods Insights website, newsletter, and social media. It offered quality GDPR-leads from gated content on a special landing page and an e-shot campaign to our relevant audience.

This was a good first step – the leads generated are of high quality. And then, we decided to take it a step further by putting out more detailed content with the content marketing package – because that's what buyers want to look at when shortlisting suppliers.
