FiftyForward Turner Center Set to Experience Major Changes... Both Center Director Susan Dillingham and Program Director Candace Jones will be leaving FiftyForward and the J. L. Turner Center in early July. Candace is leaving to pursue a position as the Clare Bridge (Memory Care) Manager at Brookdale Green Hills where she will get to do therapeutic art programs, among other duties. Candace’s last day will be Friday, July 8th. Susan is leaving to found and lead a non-profit working to prevent, reduce and mitigate the effects of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). This new work will allow her to work with, and on behalf of, people of every age and walk of life. Susan’s last day will be Tuesday, July 12th. A going-away party will be held on Friday, July 8th at 1:00 PM in the Community Room of the Turner Center for Candace and Susan. Please make every effort to stop by that party and tell these ladies good-bye and give them your well wishes! THANK YOU CANDACE for the awesome job that you have done at the Turner Center over the course of the last three years, first as the Program Coordinator and Transportation Program Director, and then as the Turner Center Program Director. Your talents are too numerous to mention. Your professionalism, attention to detail, kindness, compassion, wisdom, work ethic, and artistic ability are unsurpassed. You will be greatly missed. THANK YOU SUSAN for bringing your laughter and big-picture thinking to the Turner Center. You have a wonderful way of recognizing talents and making those around you feel unique, special and loved. You are unafraid of challenges and have faced many head on in your role here, and you have helped foster partnerships here at the center that will continue on. Susan, you will be missed. The Turner Center will continue to operate as usual under the capable leadership of our Member Relations/Volunteer Coordinator Jamie McCone. Please support Jamie as she ventures into this transitional time. We are in the process of taking and screening applications for the positions of Center Director and Program Director at this time and hope to have someone hired and in place very soon.
