Watkins Presents Handmade and Bound on Tuesday 5th and Wednesday 6th
Bountiful Harvest! The gardening training program conducted by Mary B. Wakefield, Extension Agent with the Tennessee State University Cooperative Extension Program, provides training on how to plant, grow and harvest vegetables. The training also include the nutrition and health benefits of vegetable consumption & vegetable food safety practices. The training began in March and ends in October.

‘Handmade and Bound’
OUR MISSION FiftyForward supports, champions and enhances life for those 50 and older.
Just in time for the annual Handmade and Bound festival, Watkins Community Education will be host two workshops on September 5 & 6, at 10 a.m. -12 p.m. at the FiftyForward Bordeaux, during which participants will have the opportunity to re-create their Nashville home and tell us about their Nashville neighborhood experiences! This collaborative project will then be assembled downtown by the Nashville Public Library for the duration of the Southern Festival of Books weekend, October 13-15.
