Dear Turner Center Members, Fall has officially arrived and we have planned a lot of fun trips and activities with the changing season (and beautiful weather) in mind! In October, we have several really special events planned and we hope you will join us. We are hosting another Friday Night Dance on 10/17/14, a mini-retreat entitled “Fierce with Age” on 10/28/14 as well as a Halloween Chili Cook-Off and Pumpkin Carving Contest on 10/31/14!
Don’t forget to check out the newsletter insert which features all of the Turner at Twilight offerings for this month. We have two exceptional presentations planned as well as an evening intermediate acrylic painting class. All members of the center are encouraged to participate in these activities! ~ Megan
We are fortunate to have so many amazing women who attend our center and we want to honor each and every one of you! During the month of October, we are celebrating the many wonderful women who are members of the FiftyForward J. L. Turner Center! Please join us on several fantastic trips: manicures at the Aveda Institute, wine tasting and a Music in the Vines concert at Arrington
Fierce with Age Carol Orsborn, PhD., will lead us in a four hour mini-retreat discussing spirituality and aging and becoming fierce with age. Join us on Tuesday, October 28th from 9:30a.m. until 1:30p.m. only $15 for members. Non-members are $20. Lunch is included with this event.
Friday Night Dance Be here Friday, October 17th from 6:00-8:00p.m. and groove to the music of Motown – The Temptations, The Supremes, Jackson 5, and more! Tickets are $5 in advance; $7 at the door. Refreshments will be provided. There will also be a retro photo area, a game of “Name That Tune” and a lot more!
