5 Lunch & Program
6 Daytrip:
TN SHIP 12 Lunch & Program Tribute to Veterans
We are in for a super treat this month — Lonnie Hill and the Fireside Pickers are going to play for us at Birthday Potluck. If you were here for Potluck in August of 2014, you will most likely remember the fabulous music they make. In addition to being a seasoned country and gospel artist himself, Lonnie also showcases up-and-coming acts on The Lonnie Hill Country/Gospel Show, a program he produces for WUXP Ch. 30.
And, talk about seasoned. The Fireside Pickers started back in in 1977. The “new” members have been with the band for over 25 years. Individually, they are great musicians. Together, they blend to make one heck of a bluegrass band! Make your plans to be here this Nov. 18th for Potluck. Lunch is at 11:30, and the music will begin about noon. The Center provides the main course. Please bring a side dish.
