LUNCH & TOUR READYVILLE MILL, FRIDAY, MAY 8 The Readyville Mill was originally a water powered grist
mill, built in 1812, by Charles Ready. It burned down during the Civil War and was rebuilt in the 1870s. The mill changed hands several times over the decades and was most recently bought and restored by Tomm and Martha Brady. Today, The Readyville Mill consists of five historic buildings

MATCHING FUNDS CAMPAIGN MAY 1 THROUGH JUNE 30 Hip hip hooray! FiftyForward will once again hold a Matching Funds Campaign from May 1 until June 30! Your overwhelming generosity last year helped us break our own record — and we are crossing our fingers for a repeat performance this year!
If the programs and activities at the Center are meaningful to you, and help to enrich your life, please help us continue to offer these programs by making a contribution during this time. And remember: Your donation — if made before June 30 — will be matched!
The pancake breakfasts are our major fundraising events for the year, and we hope you will join us for our first one for 2015. Plan on a morning of good food, fellowship and fun on Saturday, May 30th. We also hope we can count on our excellent cooks to volunteer to make some kind of home baked goodie for the Bake Sale. It can be a cake or pie, some cupcakes or brownies, or breads — whatever you would like to contribute. Please bring your baked goods to the Center on Friday, May 29, with an appropriate price tag on it.
