THE WHISTLESTOP
Director’s Update First, I would like to say a big “Thank You” to everyone who volunteered at our 9/11 day event at Kroger benefitting the USO. We had a great day loading our van full of items to be delivered to military families. Together with the other 8 locations, we brought in $5,000 worth of donations. Thank you to Sam for orchestrating this wonderful event. Also, a big thank you to everyone who attended our Summer Dinner Series. We had some great shows and were able to raise $4,000 for our operating budget this year. Thank you to the hard-working fundraising committee who plans and staffs these terrific shows! Be sure to read the October newsletter from front to back so you don’t miss any of the great happenings here at FiftyForward Madison Station. We hope to see you soon!
