Letter from the Center Director It is time for summer and lots of sunshine! Thank you, to all of you who attended and supported this year’s Whistlestop! I look forward to sharing more about how great of event we had in the July newsletter. We have lots of good news to share! First, we are excited to welcome Tom Myres to our staff. In addition to driving our transportation route and trips, Tom helps with set-ups and center coverage, which has included all the after hour voting sessions—we are grateful he is here. Tom is also a pastor at the Old Hickory Fellowship Church. Please help us welcome him!

Next, we have raised the funds needed to resurface the pool tables. Please join us in congratulating the pool players for all their hard work and dedication to making this happen! We hope you will join them in a game or two to celebrate. Finally, if you haven’t noticed yet, the chain link fence between Amqui Station and us has been taken down. We are looking forward to partnering together on some fun community projects including a walking path and gardening club. Stay tuned! Warm Regards— Brandy Lamb, Center Director

Letter from the Program Director We celebrated our mothers last month (see picture at right and on back). This month, even though we are not having an event, I want to say “Thank You and We Love You” to all our members who are fathers. This month, we have a wide variety of activities—from Tech Training to a Snow Cone Party! Plus we are hosting two community events this month—Active Shooter Training and the Madison Neighborhood Clean Up Day. Check inside for all the details!

Spring Challenge Campaign Begins June 1 FiftyForward is delighted to again offer a matching campaign, now called the “Spring Challenge! The campaign is running now through June 30. During this period, donations of any size will be matched dollar for dollar. Donations can be designated to support FiftyForward Madison Station! Our goal again this year is $5,000, which matched will bring $10,000 to our center! You have generously accomplished this goal for the past several years. There will be a goal ‘thermometer’ in the lobby to track our progress with 14 levels. It will take $357 to go up a level. We also have a matching bucket on the counter if you’d like to give small amounts. Thank you for your support of our Center! If you have any questions about the Spring Challenge, please see a staff member.
