Older Americans Month Story Sharing Circle Thurs., May 19 at 10 am May is Older American’s Month, and we want to honor our cherished members (you) by having you share your personal stories with us. Please come to share the experiences that affected your life and taught you timeless lessons of courage, health, perseverance and love. Bring pictures to personalize your story, and let us get to know you. We want to know how you have been shaped by significant events/people in your life, such as your childhood, your wedding day, job, a new hobby, the military, volunteer work, your spouse or your children. Or, maybe it’s losing a loved one that changed your life. Story sharing is as simple as it sounds and it only has to be significant to YOU! There is no right or wrong story to share, this is your story to tell. This is also a great way to get to know other members and find commonalities. This will be a very casual setting. We will take turns sharing one at a time.
Prime Time Players Presents “Merrily We Roll Along” Entertainment Cavalcade Enjoy a brunch performance by the Primetime Players on May 14 at 11 am featuring the collaborative efforts of the Loose Caboose Players (Madison Station) and the Village Voyagers (McKendree Village). This variety show includes dancing, singing and hilarious comedy acts. Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door. No food guarantee for door sales. Seating opens up at 10:30 am.
