Their initiative is to counter the negative beliefs about Islam and Muslims in America through education and community building. ASATT brings together people of different backgrounds for a conversation over a shared meal. The FCC caters the event and provides a facilitator. Facilitated conversations at ASATT dinners are cross-faith, cross-racial, cross-ethnic and cross-cultural to build community and combat stereotypes among Muslims and non-Muslims. We invite eight members to join us for a FREE delicious meal and conversation with members of the Islam religion. This is our third “A Seat at the Table,” so if you have participated before, please let others partake this time. We ask that those who sign up please show up with open minds.
