Walden’s Puddle Walden’s Puddle provides care and treatment to sick, injured and orphaned native Tennessee wildlife. It is the only professionally staffed wildlife rehabilitation and education facility in Middle Tennessee. They do not charge for services and receive no federal or state funding. They are here to help wildlife in trouble. Learn about this organization, and meet some rehabilitated critters on Wednesday, March 22 at 10 am. Please consider bringing some of the following items that are regularly needed: liquid bleach, perfume-free liquid laundry detergent, tall kitchen trash bags, paper towels, zip ties, “forever” stamps or gift cards to Kroger, Target, Lowes, Home Depot or Big Lots. They also need animal care items such as fresh produce (no onions, celery, potatoes or iceberg lettuce), pureed baby food meat, dry dog food, goat’s milk, wild birdseed, suet cakes, unsalted walnuts, peanuts and pecans. We will have a drop off box in the lobby for donations. We are very excited to host this not-for-profit group and we hope you can attend.
