Deloitte Impact Day Fri., June 15 from 10 am to 1 pm
A generous donor is matching all donations through June 30. Last year we raised $8,000 and hope to reach or exceed this amount. There is no minimum donation.
Do you often think “What the Tech?” when it comes to technology? Deloitte Technology is here to answer your questions. Volunteers from Deloitte Technology will be here on Friday, June 15 to help members with their technological devices. Bring your cellular phone, iPad, tablet or laptop with you on Friday, June 15 from 10 am until 1 pm. This is FREE! You do NOT need an appointment. This is on a first come first serve basis. Make sure you take advantage of this because they are only here once a year.
Remember, donations of $1000 or more are ALWAYS doubled regardless of the timing. We will have a display in the front lobby which will keep the donation amount up to date. Help us continue doing all the great things that we are doing now. We appreciate your support!

Center Director Notes… Dear Friends: June is upon us, and Lisa has found a million things for us to do this month! Be sure to show her your appreciation. And sign up! Thanks to all of you who completed a membership survey. This info will help the Advisory Council, staff and FiftyForward Board decide where we need to focus on improvements. As I mentioned last month, you will notice we will be making some improvements to the center in the next few months. Please be patient as we may have to close off certain rooms or areas. FiftyForward has reached out to the State Legislature for funding for the state’s seven accredited centers (five of which are FiftyForward Centers). We also requested funding from Metro Council. If you feel inclined, please let your representatives know that you appreciate their support of your center! Lastly, please consider supporting your center in this year’s matching campaign. Any donation made prior to June 30, will be matched by an anonymous FiftyForward donor! Donations help us make up the difference that membership fees and fundraisers leave. We appreciation your help. As always, please let us know if you have any ideas or needs. We are here to serve you! Sincerely, Angela Bryan
Program Director Notes…. Hi Gang! June is jam packed with so many fun trips and events. Let’s hope the weather cooperates. Cigna HealthSpring has given us 50 pedometers to give to those who are serious about their health and fitness. I encourage members who want to get their exercise in this summer to stop by my office and pick up a pedometer. It would be great if you tracked your steps for the month of June. Remember every 2,000 steps equals one mile. The suggested amount of steps per day is 10,000 (5 Miles). Happy walking.
