Letter from the Director Dear Turner Center Members, 2014 was a banner year at the Turner Center. We added many new programs as a result of member ideas: Friday Night Foodies, Lunchin’ Around, A Day in the Life, Pop-Up Trips, a Photography Group, Creating Memoirs/ Storytelling, Crafting with Candace, Art One Day, just to name a few. We also launched our new evening and weekend programming for baby boomers “Turner at Twilight.” We are grateful for our wonderful members who have supported these programs and we look forward to planning new and innovative activities for you in 2015. So take advantage of the FiftyForward Firsts coming in January and provide us with your suggestions for things that you would like to do for the first time! Happy Holidays! ~ Megan

. . . Looking Forward It’s New Year’s resolution time. Ask yourself, “When is the last time I did something for the first time?” For 2015, we want to help you make and keep your New Year’s resolutions. To do that, the FiftyForward J. L. Turner Center is introducing FiftyForward Firsts. Throughout the year, we will give you an opportunity to try something you’ve never done before. So, WE NEED TO HEAR FROM YOU!! What is a FIRST you’d like to try? Chances are there is someone else who wants to try it too. Watch the Turner Center lobby for the FiftyForward Firsts display and add your ‘first’ to the list. We’ll do our best to give you the opportunity to make it happen.
