Les has lived in Nashville since 1987, though he was born in Louisiana and raised in Mississippi. He has recorded ten albums and performed at many blues festivals. WED., MAY 24: RED HAT SOCIETY VISITS DAIRY AG CENTER IN LEWISBURG

he Red Had Society has planned a wonderful opportunity for learning this month with a tour of the Dairy AgResearch and Education Center in Lewisburg. The center was established in 1929 and is the site of a wide variety of research studies on the use of forage in dairy cattle husbandry. Their studies focus on improving forage, dairy production and management techniques.
Indeed, the center manages one of the largest and highest milkproducing Jersey herds in the world that functions as a research herd. After touring the center, the Red Hats will enjoy lunch somewhere in Lewisburg. The van will leave the center at 9:30. Van fee is: $7.
