S
ongwriter and performer Les Kerr has played for us before. And you can tell right away that he’s a pro. Born in Louisiana and raised in Mississippi, Les has made Nashville his home since 1987. His music is influenced by a variety of genres — like blues, bluegrass, Zydeco and rock — and, according to one reviewer, Les “meshes them into a hybrid that’s philosophical and sunny.” Lucky us, Les will return to the center this month for potluck! He’ll showcase some tunes from his new record, Part of the Show, and pay homage to St. Patrick’s Day with a selection of traditional Irish songs.
You can count on hearing a set of excellent toe-tapping music this March 20th. Join us! We’ll have lunch at 11:30, and Les will begin about noon. The Center provides the main course. Please bring a side dish.
