WHIT MCMAHAN IS AN ABE Lincoln Presenter. And he will be at Potluck this month, to portray Abe Lincoln for us! Dressed in period costume and speaking in first person, Whit will tell Lincoln’s story — from boyhood to his experiences as a circuit lawyer, through his presidency, the Civil War, and his untimely assassination.
Whit considers himself a living historian, and this isn’t his first week in the business. So come prepared to be thoroughly entertained this January 18th! Plus, we’ll probably all learn something about our 16th president that we did not know before. We’ll have lunch at 11:30, and Whit will begin about noon. provides the main course.
