COMING UP LEARN ABOUT JAPAN! IN APIL YUMI KIMURI AT POTLUCK: APRIL 18 9  Bob Ross Workshop 11  Daytrip Arrington & Nolensville

Last summer, Yumi Kimuri and Japan. Honshu is her daughter, Akari, traversed all four the largest. Japan’s capitol, of these islands and, this April 18th, Tokyo, is on Honshu. The other three Yumi will join us for potluck and tell are Hokkaido, Kyushu and Shikoku. us about their travels. (She was originally scheduled in January, but we cancelled because of snow.)

We’ll have lunch at 11:30, and Yumi will begin about noon. The Center provides the main course. Please bring a side dish.

aybe it’s because Iris is Tennessee’s State Flower. Maybe it’s because they’re just so beautiful. But, for whatever reason, iris is definitely a “perennial” favorite in these parts — and in both senses of the word. We’ll get to enjoy iris to our heart’s content this Wed., April 25th, when the Red Hatters tour Iris City

Gardens in Primm Springs. Iris City Gardens grows over 1000 different plants, including 700 iris, 200 daylilies, 120 peonies and many other perennials. Primm Springs is kind of out there, but we’ll research and find a good place to enjoy lunch. The van will leave the Center at 9 a.m. Van fee is $7.
