594 Single Family style homes sold in the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board in May 2023. This represents an increase of 63 unit sales, or 12% when compared to the 531 sales observed last month. When comparing the current month's sales (594 sales) to the 434 sales observed in May of 2022, sales have increased by 160 units, or 37%.
2055 Single Family style homes were available for purchase in the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board in May 2023; this represents an increase of 488 units, or 31%, when compared to the 1567 units observed in inventory last month. When comparing this months inventory (2055 units) to the 2452 units of available inventory observed in May of 2022, inventory has decreased by 397 units, or16%.
$1,608,790 is the average price for a Single Family style home sold in May 2023. This represents an increase of $83,082 in the average sales price, or 5.4% when compared to the average price of sales observed last month ($1,525,708). When comparing the current months average sale price ($1,608,790) to the average sale price $1,643,815 observed in May of 2022, the sale price has decreased by $35,025, or -2%.
When looking at May YTD Single Family sales for each respective year since 2015, 2023 sales currently rank 6th.
440 Townhome style homes sold in the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board in May 2023. This represents an increase of 56 unit sales, or 15% when compared to the 384 sales observed last month. When comparing the current months sales (440 sales) to the 360 sales observed in May of 2022, sales have increased by 80 units, or 22%.
776 Townhome style homes were available for purchase in the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board in May 2023; this represents an increase of 129 units, or 20%, when compared to the 647 units observed in inventory last month. When comparing this months inventory (776 units) to the 1236 units of available inventory observed in May of 2022, inventory has decreased by 460 units, or37%.
$850,105 is the average price for a Townhome style home sold in May 2023; this represents an increase of $14,402 in the average sales price, or 1.7% when compared to the average price of sales observed last month ($835,703). When comparing the current months average sale price ($850,105) to the average sale price $883,329 observed in May of 2022, the sale price has decreased by $33,224, or -4%.

1178 Condominium style homes were available for purchase in the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board in May 2023; this represents an increase of 144 units, or 14%, when compared to the 1034 units observed in inventory last month. When comparing this months inventory (1178 units) to the 1217 units of available inventory observed in May of 2022, inventory has decreased by 39 units, or -3%.
$556,422 is the average price for a Condominium style home sold in May 2023; this represents an increase of $12,132 in the average sales price, or 2.2% when compared to the average price of sales observed last month ($544,290). When comparing the current months average sale price ($556,422) to the average sale price $562,675 observed in May of 2022, the sale price has decreased by $6,253, or -1%.
