TEAM OF THE WEEK: OHIO STATE BUCKEYES In a week where there were no major upsets and with most top teams winning at home, Ohio State had the toughest challenge and came through, beating Penn State on the road, 27-26. Penn State took a 12-point lead with eight minutes to go but the Buckeyes scored two straight touchdowns, including a 96-yard drive with less than five minutes left in the game, to take the lead. On the following drive, the Buckeye defense held Penn State on fourth down to seal the win. No. 3 Ohio State will head home to face Indiana.

ESPN College GameDay will head to Dallas for the Red River Rivalry between No. 7 Oklahoma and No. 19 Texas.

This is the first time since 2011 that these two teams have faced off on College GameDay. The Sooners came out on top that day, 55-17.

THIS WEEK IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL HISTORY: OCTOBER 6, 2012 In the sixth week of the 2012 season, North Carolina State upset No. 3 Florida State, 17-16. The Seminoles scored the game’s first 16 points in the first half while NC State turned the ball over twice. The second half was a different story as NC State defense held the Seminoles to only 121 yards. The offense was able to take advantage, putting up 17 points, including the game-winning touchdown with a few seconds left.

fiesta bowl facts #FIESTAFLASHBACK Click here for the fifth edition of Fiesta Bowl Flashback, highlighting Notre Dame’s 12-0 season that ended with a national championship at the Fiesta Bowl.

In this episode, Notre Dame beats Pittsburgh 30-20 in a gritty game where the Panthers went toe-to-toe with the Fighting Irish until the final touchdown by Notre Dame’s Mark Green with 4:32 remaining. Once again, Notre Dame relied heavily on their running game to pick up the win, rushing for 310 yards.

The University of Tennessee won the national championship game at the Fiesta Bowl 20 years ago. Now, former quarterback Tee Martin looks back at that season and what it all meant for him.

In an effort to stop this bad behavior, anti-bullying programs have been started all throughout the country to educate children on how to properly handle their unsatisfactory actions toward others.
