TEAM OF THE WEEK: ARIZONA STATE SUN DEVILS Arizona State picked up a massive win on Saturday, upsetting No. 15 Michigan State in Tempe, 16-13. The game was a defensive struggle with both teams fighting for every single yard. With a minute left in the third quarter, the Sun Devils were down, 13-3, but ASU rallied in the fourth, scoring 13 unanswered points including the game-winning 28-yard field goal from sophomore kicker Brandon Ruiz. With the win, ASU is now ranked No. 23 and will be on the road this week, facing San Diego State.

THIS WEEK IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL HISTORY - SEPTEMBER 15, 2007 In the third week of the 2007 season, the Kentucky Wildcats pulled a massive upset over No. 9 Louisville, with a 40-34 win. Points came often and early in this shootout as neither team would go down easy. The game looked to be done when Louisville scored the go-ahead touchdown with 1:45 left in the game to make it 34-33. With 28 seconds left, quarterback Andre Woodson found Stevie Johnson open and hit him for a 57-yard touchdown to complete the comeback and the upset.

In this episode, Notre Dame travels to East Lansing and defeats Michigan State, 20-3. The Fighting Irish struggled to find rhythm through the air but racked up 245 yards on the ground. The Irish defense never let the Spartans back into the game after a first quarter field goal, forcing two interceptions, the last one going for a touchdown in the fourth quarter, serving as the game-clinching dagger.
