TEAM OF THE WEEK: MICHIGAN WOLVERINES As the season starts to hit the home-stretch, results propel some teams forward and shatter the hopes of others. One team that boosted its position as a contender was Michigan, as the Wolverines crushed No. 14 Penn State, 42-7, at home. The Wolverines hit the gas pedal and never looked back, scoring 42 unanswered points before the Nittany Lions scored with only 2 minutes left in the game. Michigan’s running game was electric, rushing for three touchdowns and 259 yards, while the defense forced three turnovers.

No. 4 Michigan will head to Rutgers next week.

THIS WEEK IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL HISTORY: NOVEMBER 10, 2012 In the 11th week of the 2012 season, No. 15 Texas A&M upset the reigning national champs, No. 1 Alabama, 29-24. The Aggies held nothing back in the first quarter, scoring 20 points and holding Alabama scoreless. Alabama cut the lead down to three points thanks to 17 unanswered points but Johnny Manziel and the Aggies put up 10 points to complete the upset.

The Franciscan Renewal Center doesn’t reject anyone due to a lack of funds or if they aren’t of the same religion, the sign in the front of their building speaks for them: “All are Welcome.” To help fund their programs and their facilities, Fiesta Bowl Charities gave Franciscan Renewal Center a grant during the 2018-19 grant cycle.
