Congratulations on another successful bowl season! We can’t thank you enough for making the 29th Annual Cactus Bowl, the 47th Annual PlayStation Fiesta Bowl, National Bank of Arizona Fiesta Bowl Parade and the surrounding events a resounding success. With all your countless hours of hard work and dedication, Committee 47 exceeded its goal and raised a total of $2.97 Million.

COLLEGIATE CHAMPIONSHIP

The first-of-its-kind esports partnership between the Fiesta Bowl organization and a game publisher brings the top four collegiate Overwatch teams to Arizona for the semifinals and championship match of this year’s Tespa Overwatch Collegiate Series. There will also be a showmatch between Arizona State and University of Arizona. The Fiesta Bowl Overwatch Collegiate National Championship is Saturday, February 17, on the ASU Tempe campus, with doors opening at 2 p.m. Tickets are now available at FiestaBowl.org.

One of the most important aspects of the Fiesta Bowl organization’s success is the work of its well-known Yellow Jacket Committee. As you well know, the 120-person Yellow Jacket Committee represents the organization in a variety of roles year-round to make the Fiesta Bowl one of Arizona’s most admired organizations. Please encourage other qualified community leaders to join in. Applications are open and will close on Friday, February 9.

F I E S TA B O W L C H A R I T I E S S P O T L I G H T Fiesta Bowl Charities experienced record-setting player outreach events during the Cactus Bowl and PlayStation® Fiesta Bowl game week. For the first time ever, the entire roster from each competing Cactus Bowl and Fiesta Bowl football team attended – over 100 players at each outreach! From playing laser tag and kickball to serving Christmas dinner and dueling it out in the PlayStation truck, each player outreach event put smiles on faces, taught valuable lessons and accomplished what the Fiesta Bowl organization does best, give back to the Arizona community.
