The FICPA Scholarship Foundation is that helping hand for aspiring CPAs. We are working to maintain the strong pipeline of talented students across our state. We partner with colleges and universities to promote the CPA profession, spread awareness of the FICPA, and support the future of our industry.

We do more than provide scholarships. We change lives - one student at a time.

Now, more than ever, we need your help to make a difference! There are endless ways to give back. Which will you choose?

As the incoming Chair for the 2021-22 year, I am excited to be a part of this dynamic organization. For more than 60 years, the FICPA Scholarship Foundation has played a unique role in encouraging the best and brightest college students to pursue an accounting career. We are dedicated to assisting them in that journey.

This upcoming year, we look forward to adding to our number of programs, deepening our relationships with our partner universities, strengthening our financial position, and increasing awareness with Florida accounting students. We will also host new Scholarship Nights across the state to honor our 73 scholars.

These events will recognize the future of the accounting profession and place an emphasis on networking and fellowship. We look forward to enjoying these celebrations with you.

As an educator, I wholly believe in this mission. I encourage you to learn more about the Foundation, its impact, and how you can become more involved to help us develop an even stronger talent pool of future accountants and CPAs.

This past year has been one we will all remember. Although it pained us to see so little of our students and supporters in person, we at the FICPA Scholarship Foundation used the time to our advantage. We established our new website - www.ficpascholarshipfoundation.org - to give you a better understanding of our purpose, impact, scholars, universities, partners, fundraising events, and the ways you can get involved.

The Foundation has gone through many changes over the years, but our goal remains the same - to pave the path for the next generation. It is imperative that we all work together to shape the future of the CPA profession. As a non-profit, 501(c)3, we need your support to continue to provide scholarships, motiviation, mentorship, and professional development to deserving students.

I am thrilled to be a part of this long-standing, ever-important organization and look forward to working with you. I thank you for your passion and dedication in assisting and inspiring the next generation of leaders.

2019-21 CHAIRMAN, BILL MOORE I had the pleasure of serving as the Chairman for two consecutive years and am proud of our growth and positioning to take the Foundation to the next level. I am so thankful for the support that many of you have given and that you have seen the importance of our mission.

This past year has been one for the ages and we have been using it to enhance every aspect of the Foundation and streamlining processes to provide the best possible outcomes. The amazing group of leaders that have taken on the added role of Trustee for the FICPA Scholarship Foundation is one to be commended. Their passion for the future of the profession and for the next generation of CPAs is undeniable and is evident in their dedication and support through many facets including their talent, time and treasure.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time serving and getting to know our Trustees, CPAs in the state, but most of all, the scholars. They are definitely shining stars and I know that we are in great hands for the future. I look forward to continuing to serve on the Board and assisting in every way I possibly can!
