PRAYER & BIBLE STUDY Intercessory Prayer Sundays and Wednesdays In-Person & Online We invite you to unite with us in prayer on Sundays before worship services and Wednesdays before Bible Study.
Noon Bible Study & Prayer Wednesdays at 11:30 a.m. In-Person & Online Each Wednesday you're invited to grab your lunch and Bible and join us for prayer and Bible Study in the middle of the day. The Noon Day Bible Study remains on selah until Wednesday, February 25. We invite you to join a Sunday Bible Studies class until Wednesday Bible Study returns.
WORSHIP SERVICE REMINDERS Sunday Bible Studies at 8 a.m., Worship at 9 a.m. Birthdays and anniversaries are recognized on the FIRST SUNDAY Baptism is held every FOURTH SUNDAY, 8 a.m. class, 9 a.m. baptism, contact a Deacons Ministry member if you are interested in getting baptism Prayer requests should be sent to Pastor Jordan Hampton in the office Meetings with Pastor Ty should be scheduled through Lucy Reyes, Executive Assistant to the Senior Pastor

All ministries should send calendar dates, including monthly meetings, to the appropriate Staff Pastor for approval BEFORE submitting a Ministry Request Form. Update your membership record. Giving statements will be made available early next year and members are responsible for updating contact information, including email and U.S. mailing addresses to ensure proper delivery.
Wednesday Morning Prayer Connect with Pastor Ty Wednesday mornings as part of the new series, Wednesdays with Intent. Service Times are Changing Set your clock and add a reminder because starting Sunday, January 4, 2026 our Worship Experience will begin at 9 a.m. Bible Study will begin at 8 a.m. The new worship time also means the D.R.E.A.M. Zone for children and youth will open at 8:45 a.m. along with Intercessory Prayer.

Leadership Meeting Pastor Ty wants to meet with you! He’s calling a meeting with all ministry leaders and workers and we want to make sure you have a seat at the table. Men’s Breakfast The FIBC Men’s Ministry invites you to join them on Saturday, January 24 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. for the first Fellowship Breakfast of the new year. Break bread with men from across the valley at the Golden Corral on Dysart Road in Goodyear. The cost is $20 per person. Contact a ministry leader today for more information.
D.R.E.A.M. Zone Reopening Our children and youth are getting an upgrade, well sort of. They’re moving to The Hope Center Gym beginning Sunday, January 11. Ministry leaders are hard at work making preparations for the new space with new energy and new activities. Get ready for all our services for children and youth, including nursery and toddler are moving to The Hope Center Gym this January! New Member Class The next opportunity for you to learn more about FIBC, who we are, what we believe and why we believe it, is coming up. The next Disciple U New Member Class will take place on Saturday, January 24. If you’re interested in attending, please call the office.
In addition to enjoying a meal with your family, we’re going to provide annual reports from Senior Leadership, as well as strategic planning, futurecasting and more. We need a headcount, so please let us know you’re coming by Wednesday, January 21 by calling the office or registering here.
Governance Council Elections As part of the Annual Church Business Meeting and Dinner we will hold Governance Council elections. There are six (6) candidates up for consideration; Dr. M.C. The election will be overseen by the Elections Commission and the manner with which ballots will be cast will be announced at a later date. Witness the historic installation of First Institutional Baptist Church’s next leader. We invite you and your entire family to join us for the installation celebration of Dr. Robert “Ty” Jones as Senior Pastor. With high praise, worship and dynamic preaching and teaching, there is something for everyone to celebrate with Pastor Jones, First Lady Nakeisha and the entire FIBC church family taking place this January and February.
INSTALLATION CELEBRATION ACTIVITES Installation Revival Wednesdays, January 14, 21, 28 and February 4 Join us each Wednesday night for four weeks of powerful preaching, teaching, praise and worship and we revive, reset and renew our collective spirits. Installation Worship Services Friday, February 6 – Sunday, February 8 Join us for a weekend of consecration, prayer, praise and worship as we formally welcome our Senior Pastor and First Lady into the FIBC family. Installation receptions, special ministry gatherings and leadership development opportunities with our Guest Preachers are also being planned, so stay tuned for more information.

Stay in t he Know VOLUNTEER | SERVE | GIVE | SHARE Volunteers Needed Our ministries are continuing to make the transition back to life on the FIBC campus and that means we need more volunteer support. We want you to find your place in ministry and serve, and trust and believe, there is plenty of room for you to use your gifts and talents. We're in need of volunteers for ministries like the Ushers, Security (Ministry of Protection), Multi-Media and Student Ministries. But there are other places you can serve.
