Defiant Joy: An African American Storytelling Production

Black people have maintained their joy even in times when it seems they shouldn’t. Our joy is defiant. We invite you to join us on Wednesday, Feb. 15 for this special production that combines black literature, songs and poetry that’s rooted in our traditions, and emphasizes how throughout history Black people have found ways to express joy in spite of.

Featuring an inter-generational cast, joy is at the center of our celebration and we invite you to join us for Defiant Joy: an African American Storytelling Production on Wednesday, Feb. 15 at 6:30 p.m.

Active, Older & Tech: a Monthly Lunch & Learn

Active, Older & Tech is a free, monthly lunch & learn series open to older adults who want to learn about tech-related topics launching this month. We're excited and want you to join us on Friday, Feb. 10 at 11 a.m. as we cover various topics from data privacy, to purchasing the best cell phone and more.

This month's topic is Managing your privacy. If you're concerned about online privacy join us for tips and expert advice on the best way to protect your online identity, including passwords, banking and social media.

This month's presenters are Earl Hinkle, FIBC's IT Manager and Sr Information Security Architect, Quality Health and Tracy Lewis, FIBC's Social Media Manager and Owner/Operator, Nikki Ironwood, LLC.
