Our ac ti v iti es h ave been so nume rou a nd va ried th a t if ,n ha ve n o t glor ious ly succeeded in all of th em we must r e m ember that ours is a small sc ho ol with an unusually high sc h o la tic s tandard.

Starting the ye ar with a very successfu l pla y, "T he Big Id ea, " we raised a considerable sum , part of which was u ed to me et the d efic it from th e 19 24 Annu a l. One o f th e l arges t undert a king of th e year was the opere tta , "T he :H arr ia ge of Nannette. " A new policy was in stitut ed thi s year in th a t the Student B od ~ , managed th e operetta a nd received the profit . At th e tim e of thi s writin g th e Seniors are at work o n th eir Shakesperean play , " A Midsummer Night's Dr eam " Not s ince th e same play w as g ive n ten years ago by a Claremont Hi g h School Senior Cla - s h as so a mbiti ou a production been a ttempt ed.

Although many of the mor e p ro minent athletes h ad been los t by gradua ti o n , th e li g htw eig ht basketball team was able t o win with little diffi c ult y th e Tri -County Lea g ue cup o ffered for that spo rt.
