Designed for ADN/AAS-prepared registered nurses, Ferrum College’s accelerated, fully online program will provide a direct, two-year pathway to the MSN—eliminating the need to earn a BSN first. The Panther Promise Offers FREE Tuition to Qualifying Virginia Students As Virginia’s College of Opportunity, we offer FREE tuition to qualifying Virginia students. We also offer up to $2,000 in annual grants and scholarships to qualifying out-of-state students, in addition to all other institutional and merit based scholarships.

The Ferrum Promise to Transfer Students from Virginia Community Colleges Undergraduate students who transfer from a Virginia community college with an appropriate associate’s degree will graduate from Ferrum College in two years, guaranteed, or their remaining courses are free.

Virginia Tuition Assistance Grant Program

Virginia residents attending Ferrum College may qualify for the Virginia Tuition Assistance Grant (VTAG), a state-funded program that helps reduce the cost of attending a private college. Awards are determined annually by the Commonwealth of Virginia and are subject to available funding.

Earn to Learn Matched Savings Scholarship

Earn to Learn offers eligible Ferrum College students a chance to earn an extra $2,000 scholarship. Full-time students eligible through Federal Pell Grant or Student Aid Index can participate by completing financial literacy training, attending webinars, and saving $500 in a matched account.

Veterans and Military Educational Benefits

Veterans, service members, military-affiliated students, and eligible dependents may qualify for educational benefits that help make a Ferrum College education more affordable. Merit Scholarships

At Ferrum College, we believe achievement should be rewarded. When you’re accepted, you’ll automatically be considered for a merit scholarship based on your high school and/or college GPA. Scholarships are renewable for up to four years for full-time, degree-seeking students.

Athletic Scholarships

Ferrum College offers athletic scholarships to qualified student-athletes competing in NCAA Division II programs. Coaches work closely with prospective studentathletes to identify scholarship opportunities that recognize athletic talent, academic achievement, and leadership potential. 18
