Automatic transfer machine for Aluminium bars
The range of multiple working machines of Ferrari E. offers the possibility to enclose in a single plant additional machining operations to cut, such as drilling, punching, threading or milling, on the Aluminium’s bar, avoiding the passage of the cutted piece to another working station. The multiple working machines are “Taylor made" for the needs of the customer, ensuring high quality standards and reduced processing time. The areas of use are the accessories for doors and windows, renewable energy, automotive components.

Automatic machine with 4 working stations
Automatic Transfer line Automatic machine with multiple machining units to produce pieces starting from Aluminium bar. The machine allows to obtain cutted pieces complete of additional machining like drilling (in horizontal and vertical position) and milling. The feeding of the bar is guarantee by an automatic feeding system with high precision. The position of the drilling and milling units is adjustable by handwheel. This version of the multi-purpose machine allows to make one vertical and one horizontal drilling, one longitudinal milling and a cut at the right length. Different types of machines can be made. VERTICAL DRILLING UNIT: the vertical drilling unit is equipped with an electrospindle with high rotation speed (18.000 rpm). The feeding is adjustable and permits a fast feeding during the approach to the piece.
AUTOMATIC TOOLS CHECK: each drilling unit is equipped with an automatic tools check system, that ensures the integrity of the tools before the beginning of the drilling operations.
HORIZONTAL DRILLING UNIT: the horizontal drilling unit is equipped with an electrospindle with high rotation speed (18.000 rpm). The feeding is adjustable and permits a fast feeding during the approach to the piece.

MULTIPLE MACHINING: the MultiMach pemits to make an automatic cicle of feeding – horizontal and vertical drilling – longitudinal milling – cutting and unloading of the finished piece. The family of the multi-porpuse machines made by Ferrari E. allows to choose which kind of machining units and in wihich position to achieve the maximum productivity and versatility.

Automatic transfer line with multiple working station to make aluminium piece starting from bar. Four aligned processing station allow multiple machining and one cutting unit allow the final cutting at the right lenght. Specially designed and made for the production of aluminium hinges starting from bar, the TRFP4 is equipped with automatic bar feeder, up cut sawing unit, hydraulic shearing unit, vertical drilling unit with double spindle, frontal drillig unit and tapping unit. Hydraulic shearing station The hydraulic shearing station can provide a force of 20 ton. The changing of the shearing tools is easy and fast, making the transfer a flexible machine. The length of the stroke of the shearing unit is adjustable. This unit allows the shearing of different shapes on the aluminium bar.
Vertical drilling unit The vertical drilling unit can be moved in the space by handwheel. The unit can be equipped with a multiple spindle unit that allow to make more holes with one feeding cicle. The transfer TRFP4 is also equipped with a tapping unit in vertical position. The operator can choose which unit use in the automatic cycle.
Frontal operating unit The transfer is equipped with an operating unit with horizonthal axis to permit drilling operation on the cutted section of the piece. This operating unit is equipped with double feeding speed. The cutted piece is expelled with a mechanic system that ensure the exit of the piece from the feeding line.

Multiple machining stations The multiple processing machine TRF3 offers the possibility to realize shearing, drilling tapping and cutting in a single automatic cycle, automatically unloading the finished part through a system of automatic expulsion. The position of the machining units can be varied through the use of handwheels.
Shearing - drilling / tapping-cutting The various operations necessary to obtain the finished piece are made simultaneously, allowing to obtain a very low cycle times.

Hydraulic punching station The multiple - processing machine TRM is complete of an hydraulic sharing or coining unit, with high pressure that allows the realization of precise machining. The operating force is adjustable as the stroke length and you can easily replace the punching tools.
Automatic bar feeder The feeding of the bar is ensured by an automatic feeder with a precision of +/- 0.1 mm in the positioning. The calmping of the bar on the feeder is pneumatic and the calmping device permits the use of special clamping sistem.
Vertical drilling unit The vertical drilling unit can be moved in the space by handwheel. The unit can be equipped with a multiple spindle unit that allow to make more holes with one feeding cicle.
