The most touching thing she recently posted was the song 'Mi amor a primera vista' made for her daughter Salomé. The lyrics say it all, and it has captivated many fans. "Before, the house felt gigantic There was an empty spot in the bed The plans were so irrelevant And Sundays a bit boring But then you came, but then you came..."

CESHIA UBAU Encourages us to 'Walk' and leave the past behind Ceshia Ubau is a Nicaraguan singer-songwriter and psychologist based in Costa Rica. Her songs blend the best rhythms of the Central American region with contemporary sounds. In her musical project, Ceshia conveys messages for strengthening self-esteem. For the Nicaraguan singer, the connection with oneself serves as the backbone of her artistic project, as she uses consciousness and introspection in her composition to reach the deepest feelings of the soul. "Walk" would be an ideal song for an anime intro from the early 2000s. The single's playful swaying allows you to feel the movement of nature with the wind, while its reflective lyrics are perfect for accompanying the protagonist of a Coming-of-age-themed animation. This happens because Ceshia intuits that her theme song is wonderful for new beginnings: "It's a song for new beginnings, the bittersweet process of letting go of the known with gratitude, to make way for new experiences that are yet to come. With an alternative pop rhythm, it invites movement and dreaming of an unknown path that, over time, becomes a hopeful journey." The music video for "Walk" was made by La Gotera Producciones (Camera and editing: Johanna Baca; Camera and production assistance: Rodrigo Castro). The video shows the waves of Playa Hermosa in Puntarenas. A few days ago, Ceshia won two ACAM Awards, organized by the Association of Composers and Musical Authors of Costa Rica: "Best New Single" for "Para Mí", and Rigoberto Alvarado and Brandon Cores won the award for "Producers of the Year" for the production of the album Luz.
Mental Health in the
Music Industry A study conducted in the United Kingdom by the organization Help Musician, where 2000 users from various sectors of the Music Industry were interviewed, 71.1% expressed having experienced anxiety or panic attacks, while 68.5% confessed to having depression, and half of the users had difficulties in seeking help. The study had among its results that musicians are three times more likely to suffer from depression. Among the reasons for these results, the high workload and sleeplessness, high competitiveness, substance abuse, job instability and areas of destructive criticism and mistrust stand out. Although these situations could be recognized in other professions, in my opinion, within the artistic field there are particular sensitivities and expectations that emerge in a job directly related to dreams that become a life project. Therefore, it is important to develop self-care strategies to prioritize emotional and soul wellbeing starting with identifying a support network. A support network is a group of people who represent a safe and non-judgmental space, who agree and support whatever situation we are going through. Being a member of a support network for someone also contributes to our sense of life, because we recognize ourselves as people who contribute to the well-being of another. Working on self-esteem is essential, preferably through a therapeutic process. In the work environment, "mirror situations" may appear, that is to say, conflicts or comments that we may perceive as negative and that remove wounds that were already inside us. This does not exempt from responsibility whoever has had a genuine intention to hurt, but it shows us something that needs to be addressed and that is not new. Constant comparisons, the feeling of not being enough, among other signs, are necessary to address, as adults and responsible for ourselves. Just as music is a passion, it is also a job that requires limits. In freelance work, it is crucial to maintain work and rest schedules, prioritize sleep hours as much as possible and even look for hobbies other than the musical arts. I know many colleagues whose hobbies include photography, electronic repair or painting. Giving space to boredom is also important, many times the brain needs periods of disconnection and lowering alertness. Boundaries are not only in the work structure, but also in interpersonal relationships. "To have healthy relationships, uncomfortable conversations are necessary" and usually what is called uncomfortable is talking about how we feel and what we need to be well. The need for celebration, closeness, autonomy or meaning are valid and it is a right to ask for them assertively.
To conclude, everyone can adopt healthy ways to develop themselves at work while preserving peace, emotional well-being and the magic of musical creativity, but it is key to do it accompanied, recognizing our emotions and asking for help before we feel that we have exhausted all the tools and internal resources. I close by inviting to make memory; to remember why we do what we do and to return to that answer as many times as necessary. Everyone does the best they can, from their own contexts and stages of life.

EMERGING ARTIST Discovery of the month
ALEX7 Christian Urban Artist from Venezuela Jheyson Mujica, known as Alex7, is a Venezuelan talent dedicated to the Christian Urban genre. He started in the music world in 2018 as part of an urban music duo known as Alex7&MTK. He has committed to working under the direction of the BI-KNOX team, gaining recognition in Venezuela, particularly in his hometown of Barquisimeto, through performances at renowned events, acquiring the necessary experience to navigate the industry. And in this opportunity, he presents his new musical material titled "Diferente" ("Different"), reminding us that his lyrics are inspired by God and for God, providing uplifting content for the audience's consciousness, families, and the entire body of Christ in all nations.
"I am undoubtedly a new version of myself. I have been writing my songs based on what God has allowed me to experience, and it is a great pleasure to introduce you to the God I sing and serve through my songs. Jesus Christ is the one who truly fulfills every longing of the heart...“ "For you are a holy people to the Lord your God. The Lord your God has chosen you to be his own, a people different from all the peoples on the face of the earth." He is predicted to be a successful talent within the urban scene. "Reggaeton is an excuse to tell you that CHRIST SAVES.“ The genre known as "Reggaeton" is extremely popular to this day, reaching the same level as R&B and rap. It has evolved musically, in terms of music videos, and even its lyrics, becoming the preferred genre of Latin American youth. However, it is also a controversial genre, as many people consider it vulgar, misogynistic, and lacking in quality. They view it as shameful that young people enjoy listening to this type of music. "Well, Reggaeton is much more than a trend and a music genre; it is a cultural movement that, whether we like it or not, is shaping the youth of our generation."

LEGA RELEASES FOR THE FIRST TIME ONE OF ITS SONGS ON DIGITAL PLATFORMS Last Wednesday, September 20, the first single and third song of the band LEGA, titled "Monster", was released on digital platforms. This song is about the story of a cruel person who is paying for his mistakes and that through each song of the single the story is developing. Regarding the song "Monster", Rod Cabrera, vocalist of the band commented: "The duality in this is that we take as a reference testimonial phrases about the abuses suffered by thousands of people both inside and outside their homes. Mistreatment endured for many years, reaching the point of exploding in the face of silence. NOT JUSTIFYING EVIL BUT DENOUNCING A HARSH REALITY THAT WE LIVE DAY BY DAY". LEGA is a Guatemalan metal band that started in 2017, being the members: Rod Cabrera -Voice , Dorian Ubeda G -Guitar ,Jose Santizo -Bass,Jorge Illescas -Drums. Before having their own name within the metal scene, they took their first steps singing covers in local bars and opening events to emblematic bands such as: EXTINCION and TOBA. Little by little they gain the admiration and respect of the public for the dedication and passion they show on stage, being thus, the definitive reason to create their songs and start working in the recording studios. In July of that same year they perform at the Progresive Aspect Festival, held at the Club Bocanada at 4 grados norte, zone 4 of the Capital City. They made a small tour in the bars of the Center of the City as part of their musical agenda. And so 5 years have passed and they do not stop. On Saturday October 7th will be taking place the festival called: Rock Fest Fenomenal, organized by LEGA, in celebration of the acceptance of the song on digital platforms. Among the bands.
