Theft depends on the area and density with many parks reporting no thefts. Most large parks have security to act as a deterrent & some parks in less trafficked areas find it. “ Although movable furniture is lightweight and easy to pack and move, it would be cost-prohibitive to hire people to pack up and put away furniture every night and then set it all up again the next day, whereas if you treat people with dignity and respect, you tend to get it back.”

Bryant Park NEW YORK, N E W Y O R K In the early 1990s, Bryant Park Corporation unveiled plans to turn Bryant Park, a once crime-ridden area, into a safe haven of peace and tranquility for the public. Fermob’s Bistro chair was chosen by Dan Biederman and Andy Manshel after researching place making and movable chairs.
