Since childhood, I have been attracted to the essence and expression of spaces, creativity, and their transformation, as well as art, history, and design disciplines, which led me to an architectural education.
My motivation is fueled by a commitment to responsible and sustainable design. I am constantly learning and enriching my creativity, labor, and design development to create interiors and architecture that are aesthetically pleasing and make sense to people, communities, and contexts. This commitment to responsible design feeds my curiosity and drives me to explore new horizons.
My work experience has grown my versatility, discipline, and teamwork, which I incorporate into every goal and situation to achieve a successful result.
As an architect and designer, I like to learn from my work fellows’ thoughts, culture, and skills, which increases my awareness and enthusiasm for further challenges and projects.

BARRIO TULUM
DESCRIPTION: Project for a residential community in the town of Tulum, México. The organic shaped buildings respond to an easy and dynamic circulation flow between spaces. The ever changing facade surface creates view angles from all the apartments without compromising privacy. The resulting shapes blur the presence of an orthogonal property line, blending with the surrounding trees. The rooftop is used for leisure spaces and programs while the ground floor holds retail spaces and food and beverage outlets.
MY WORK: Project management from kick-off, research and analysis, conceptualization, first schemes, and design, to the early stages of client and engineering.

THE
CONCEPT
Part of a population that contains a spontaneous social grouping and that has a peculiar, physical, social, social, economic and cultural character.
The project is born from the concept of a neighborhood where through spatial strategies: anticipation, transition, congregation, and contemplation.
A unique experience is developed with surreal, abstract, natural, and aspirational characteristics through its design, materiality, and coexistence with the existing context.

THE TERRAIN
“BARRIO”
HABITABLE UNITS
Habitable units are placed on the ground allowing space between them, creating dynamism and protecting views, giving a sense of the whole.
THE SPROUT BUILDINGS
Organic forms dilute the outline of the terrain and restriction. Everything becomes becomes a facade. There is no beginning or end. The project emerges from the site.

The interior design project proposes a functional and aesthetically outstanding space that encourages development, collaboration, and work coexistence with a partiality not ordinary, fresh, and cheerful that represents the corporate with a concept that also speaks of the brand itself, although it does not stick to the traditional idea of an office.
The design results from a study of the work dynamics within the company, the proposal connects all the spaces with a view of the park, through a configuration of private and common use spaces, in a community environment.

The concept is based on the color reference as an agent of vitality, inspiration, and elegance; a sensory route was created through intense colors that go from warm to cool, depending on the point of this route.
The installations are exposed, but they are integrated as part of the composition of the space, you can read the honesty of the design and how they are integrated into the space.

PX WINE CELLAR
DESCRIPTION: Wine Cellar PX is an interior design project where nature and purity of the materials were the inspiration to create a layered space full of expression and contrast that develop a calm an intimate atmosphere and experiences.
PERIOD: 2021
LOCATION: Mexico City, MX
Moodboard Collage
Wine cellar PX was inspired by the experience of naturalness, calm and containment that a cave can generate to our senses. Through the selection of materials that convey its essence and purity, they produce an expressive, apparent, genuine and serene atmosphere.
A neutral color palette is configured and the space is enveloped in different sequences of layers giving movement, expression and contrast to the area. Accompanied by a soft and indirect lighting that helps to the correct conservation of the wines, and the creation of intimate and unique moments.
After various explorations, the bottle collection was placed at the back of the area as a sign of crown and to embrace the space with it.
The structure that supports the wine assembly was thought as a naked skeleton, light but strong, that allows viewing its constructive components and configuration as well as the bottles on, at all their faces and perspectives.
The vertical elements of the skeleton are lead screws attached to the bottom slab.
The horizontal elements are drilled woodblocks inserted into the lead screws.
Below them, two square locknuts help with the support and rigidity of the structure. The constructive configuration generates layers, movement, contrast, and exposition as the main concepts of the whole wine cellar project.
